Your guide to an incredible Willamette Valley experience
...and shameless selfies
OK, this is the not so fun stuff which, if followed, will ensure that you, your friends, servers and everyone around you has an amazing day!
Recognize that while you are in transport and at each destination, you are in a space that has been meticulously cared for and designed to provide exceptional hospitality to you and others. Treat these spaces with a care that exceeds how you care for your own properties.
The party host who made the reservation is in charge of the group. It is your responsibility to keep the group in order, on time and take charge of anyone in the group who is excessively intoxicated. If the latter happens, communicate with the driver so they can help get everyone hydrated and back on track. Communication is key; there is no punishment for having too much fun and the driver will be eager to help make sure your event is a success!
ATTIRE
Velour jogging suits or full tuxedo preferred. Wait, scratch that. It is recommended that you ladies leave the heels at home because we will encounter gravel and uneven surfaces. If you might be interested in walking a vineyard or taking one of the vineyard hiking trails, close toed shoes are a must. Sunglasses and hats can be very handy. Come however you are most comfortable!
GRATUITY
The Good Vibes Tour still believes tips should reward those who go out of their way to provide you with an exceptional experience. Gratuity is not included and we encourage you to reward your driver for strong character, humor, chivalry and jovialness. If they suck, keep your gratuity and immediately call The Good Vibes Tour with feedback. We anticipate that your driver will radiate those Good Vibes!
CANCELLATIONS
All online bookings must be paid in full at time of reservation. For online reservations there is a convenience fee included for the total tour which ends up being a reasonable amount per person. There is no convenience fee when booked directly with The Good Vibes Tour via phone and a deposit can be made to reserve your tour date with full payment due 72 hours prior to tour.
Your tour cost includes the initial preparation of reservations, mapping out transportation routes and payment and card transaction fees. This $200 itinerary preparation cost is included in your total purchase and is non-refundable. Cancellations within 72 hours of your reservation will only be refunded 50% of the tour price. Same day and no notice cancelations are non-refundable. If you need to change the date of your reservation, please give us ample time so we can offer that date to other groups. Tours can be transferred to another party host and at the discretion of The Good Vibes Tour, some exceptions may be made with the potential of a gift certificate offered toward a future tour reservation.
There will be a minimum $400 charge for spills, bodily fluids or pet damages up to the cost of repairs. This can be avoided by communicating with the driver if you need fresh air, a quick stop or anything else you require.
IS MY SERVICE OR COMPANION DOG ALLOWED?
Of Course! The owner must be in control of their service animal at all times. Please notify us so we can check with each destination to be sure they can accommodate. If you are interested in having multiple dogs with you, check out our Paws & Pinot experience.
WHAT IF SOMETHING COMES UP AND I CANNOT MAKE THE RESERVATION DATE AND NEED TO RESCHEDULE?
Not to worry, the fine print always sounds terrible! As soon as you think there might be an issue, reach out via phone or email to give us a heads up; even if you’re not entirely certain a change is needed. As long as you communicate and give us time to fill our dates, we will do everything we can to accommodate reservation changes.
WHAT IS THE EASIEST WAY TO TIP THE DRIVER?
Cash is the easiest followed secondly by the driver’s Venmo, which they can provide.
WHAT IF THE WEATHER IS HORRIBLE?
This is Oregon and rain is all part of this beautiful state and keeps those grapes from shriveling up. The good news is that lots of reservations get cancelled on rainy days so we will be able to find a dry, warm place for you to enjoy the soothing sounds of rainfall on the roof and the savory taste of Pinot on your lips. If a winery doesn’t have a dry place for your group, we will be on the phone ahead of time finding a wonderful place for you to enjoy. If for some reason you don’t feel the Good Vibes, we’ll work feverishly to make it right!
I WANT TO BRING MY PARTNER BUT THEY DON'T DRINK OR DON'T DRINK WINE.
No problem, the transportation has a maximum number of seats and they are welcome to fill one. Many of these wineries have beer available. Reach out to us and we’ll do everything we can to accommodate special needs husbands :-)
